1. Blade Runner 2049

Effectively the well overdue sequel to the 1982 cult classic Blade runner. We can't wait to see Harrison Ford reprise his old role as Rick Deckard.  Trailers and visuals for this look amazing. Ryan Gosling seems like a perfect cast for this. We are very excited to see if the movie lives up to the standards for the original.

Plot Description: Officer K (Ryan Gosling), a new blade runner for the Los Angeles Police Department, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. His discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who's been missing for 30 years.

2. Murder on the Orient Express

Based on the detective novel by Agatha Christie featuring the worlds most famous detective, Belgian  Hercule Poirot. With an all star cast and a fantastic moustache that steals the show in the trailer. This classic tale of intrigue and mystery should be a winner.

Plot Description:  A lavish trip through Europe quickly unfolds into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train. Everyone's a suspect when Detective Hercule Poirot arrives to interrogate all passengers and search for clues before the killer can strike again

3. Thor Rangarok

This movie effectively has the job of leading us into Avengers infinity war . No easy task, and the previous two Thor movies have been middling at best. However, the two trailers we've seen to date are both visually stunning and full of humor...and a hulk. We are still laughing at the  "...he's a friend from work" line

Directed by the quirky Taika Waititi, and starring Chris Hemsworth and Cate Blanchett.

Plot Description: Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest for survival leads him in a race against time to prevent the all-powerful Hela from destroying his home world and the Asgardian civilization.

Release Month:  October

4. Justice League

The big dance for DC. The performance of this film will be the deciding factor in what movies we see from the DC universe going forward.  To date the lead in films have not been universally received, with the exception of Wonder Woman, but we fans are holding out hope that Zack Snyder has nailed the tone and visuals on this one.

Directed by Zack Synder. Starting Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot.

Plot Description: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's (Henry Cavill) selfless act, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes -- Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash -- it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions

Release Month:  November

5. The Last Jedi?

Episode eight of the worlds biggest movie franchise. Following on from the global mega hit The Force Awakens. This movie has extremely high expectations from Disney and Fans globally.
